The US women’s short track speed-skating team, have had a great first day. Alyson Dudek and Katherine Reutter, have both advanced to the quarterfinals on Wednesday for the 500 meters.
They were also part of a 3,000 meter relay team, which also advanced to the finals on Wednesday. They along with Kimberly Derrick (West Jordan) and Lana Gehring (Kearns) placed second, in the semi finals and will fight for the gold medal against Korea, China and Canada.
